2018 Chelsea Flower show - another medal for Gill

Following on from silver-gilt medals awarded to Gill for her entries in the floral arrangement competitions in 2016 and 2017 this year she was awarded a bronze medal for her entry in the first session class D, 'Light and Shadow'. Her entry was entitled "Split Personality" to portray in flowers the light and darker side of a persons personality. This was a suspended exhibit, whereas the 2017 exhibit was done on a plinth and the 2016 exhibit was done on a low platform.

Silver gilt medal at Chelsea

Gill competed in the first session of the Floral Art competition at the Chelsea Flower Show 2017. Her entry in the "Destination Unknown" class was entitled "Continuum" and won her a silver gilt medal.

Sussex Country Show 18th & 19th June

Gill continued her string of successes in the world of flower arranging competitions with winning exhibits at the Sussex Country Show held in the grounds of Parham House, near Storrington, West Sussex on the weekend of 18-19th of June 2016. In the "pedestal class" her interpretation of the title "A Country Wedding" earned her a second place and also runner-up to "Best in Show". In the "imposed class" (where all competitors are each given the same materials with which to make a flower arrangement) she won first place.

Chelsea Flower Show 2016

Representing the West Bognor Flower Club , Gill Homer and Lucinda Knapman succeeded in winning a Silver-Gilt Medal in the floral arrangement competition at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016 with their interpretation of the title 'Gardener's Delight'. Competing with some of the top flower arrangers in the country their entry was staged overnight on 25/26th May in the second session of the competition.

Wedding at Rowlands Castle, 8th May

On 8th May Gill's Flowers provided floral decorations for a private wedding at Rowlands Castle.
